Synopsis:
Blue Beetle and Mister Miracle examine the Manhunter spacecraft recovered by Aquaman. As they begin to think of a way inside, the ship open, and a flying globe emerges. It stings Mr. Miracle then attaches itself to the head of Jan Kroeg, one of the Chosen. Mister Miracle thinks of a way to remove the device which appears ready to explode. However, he is paralyzed without a clue as to where to begin. Kilowog then presses a button on the device which deactivates it. He explains that it was a mind probe and is harmless. Blue Beetle then teases Mr. Miracle about his failure.
