This story is continued from Wonder Woman #183.

Synopsis:
Princess Diana and the Amazons have selected a location to make a final stand against the armies of Ares. Wonder Woman knows that they cannot win without help, so she travels to another dimension to seek the help of several legendary heroes including King Arthur.

Wonder Woman arrives at a tournament being held at Camelot. Her pleas fall on deaf ears, as the heroes to not want to fight another war and feel that their previous sacrifices have gone unappreciated. Only Bruhilde and the Valkyries pledge their aid.

Wonder Woman brings the Valkyries to Paradise Island. They join the battle against Ares, but they are not enough to defeat the God of War. As the battle is winding down, the heroes of legend make a surprise appearance and rally to the Amazon side. Ares is defeated, and Hippolyta recovers from her coma. Diana then returns to Earth, though I-Ching chooses to remain behind to watch the rebuilding of Paradise Island.
