Synopsis:
Susie runs away from home to join the movies in Hollywood. When she gets tired not far from home, she breaks into a car and falls asleep. The car owners soon return and discover Susie inside. They are crooks intent on stealing a valuable ruby.

Whent the crooks hear Susie's story they trick her into getting inside the mansion where the ruby is located. The crooks then steal the ruby. When Susie realizes that they are crooks, she runs.

Superman begins investigating Susie's disappearance and the theft of the ruby. Susie has boarded a train, which the crooks plan on crashing. Superman prevents the crash, recovers the ruby, and rescues Susie.
