Lois takes the doctor's advice and begins pursuing Clark. This begins interfering with Clark's ability to slip away and stop crime as Superman. When Clark learns the reason for Lois's sudden interest, he resolves to get her to end her pursuit.

When a train carrying cattle derails, Superman stops the ensuing stampede. Lois rushes to the Daily Planet to file the story only to discover that Clark has beaten her to it.
