Synopsis:
Batman and Robin meet B. Boswell Browne, a writer that is fascinated with the Dynamic Duo. Browne is compiling a Batman biography and considers himself an expert on the Batman. When a crook called the Conjurer poses as a reporter interviewing Browne, he gathers information that helps him outwit Batman during robberies.
Batman realizes that Browne's information helped the crooks. Browne makes the same deduction when he hears about the robberies. When the conjurer returns, he kidnaps Browne and forces him to help again. This time Browne attempts to sacrifice himself to save Batman. The Caped Crusader is able to defeat the crooks and rescue Browne. The author then goes on to complete his biography on the Batman.
