Synopsis:
A race of alien plant people plan to invade Earth. The plants send a scout party to learn about the planet prior to the attack. However, Captain Comet is able to intercept their telepathic communications. He tracks down the plant people and battles their leader. An ordinary tree falls on the alien plant creature killing it. Captain Comet then easily finishes off the other members of the alien scout party. When the news of the scouts' defeat reaches the plants' planet the invasion is called off.
