Synopsis:
Two archaeologist discover a time capsule. When opened they discover a recording that indicates the capsule originated from 1 million years ago. It also warns them about a radiation cloud which wiped them out and is due to strike Earth again soon.

Captain Comet investigates the cloud of radiation in space. While he is away, Professor Zackro visits his friend Ivor Northrup, who has created a group of advanced robots. The robots have become independent and are plotting to overthrow humanity. They planted the time capsule to keep Captain Comet occupied. However, Comet returns to Earth sooner than expected and is able to thwart the robots before they can gather enough power via cosmic rays to defeat him and every human on Earth.
