Synopsis:
While returning to Atlantis, Aquaman comes across the ruins of an advanced civilization. While wondering what became of the people who lived there, he receives a telepathic summons from nearby. Inside a cave is a computer built by the lost civilization. It was built to make the lives of its people better, so it took control of their minds, effectively enslaving them. It could not control the children, who left the city, leaving the adults to grow old without a new generation to replace them.

Now the computer wants to renew its mission using Aquaman. It paralyzes Aquaman, but the Sea King is able to summon an electric eel to short-circuit the computer. He then buries it in the cave. However, the computer still functions and will eventually find a way to excavate itself.
