This story is continued in part from the second story of Action Comics #292.
Synopsis:
Supergirl learns that Comet the Super-Horse in telepathic. Comet communicates his history to her, explaining that he was once a centaur named Biron. He was given a potion that turned him into a full horse by his nemesis, Maldor. His love, Circe, gave Comet super-powers and immortality, but could not reverse the transformation. Maldor then sent Comet into space with another potion. Supergirl’s rocket freed him and allowed his return to Earth.
Supergirl and Comet team up to thwart an alien invasion. Linda decides to convince her parents to buy Comet from Mr. Greede, but when she returns to the ranch Comet has been sold to a Hollywood animal trainer, Matt Carver.
