Synopsis:
Luthor returns, having invented an electrical generator capable of giving him temporary super-strength. Although he is no match for Superman, Luthor gathers several millionaires together and holds them for ransom. To save the lives of the captured men, Superman is forced to retrieve an ancient gem called the Powerstone, which will give Luthor power surpassing even Superman’s. The Man of Steel gets the gem, but gives Luthor a phony. As a result, Luthor is captured, and his hostages are set free.
