Synopsis:
A rich lumberman, Ken Hall, wills his money to a boys summer camp. His brother Brett protests the will, but loses in court. When the boys camp does not receive any money, the logging camp claims that a series of accidents have caused it to lose money, prompting Lois Lane and Clark Kent to investigate.

At the logging camp, the boss, Francois Bernier, suspects the reporters of being sent to spy on him, so he orders them killed. Clark, as Superman rescues Lois from drowning in the river. Later, they are locked in a burning building. Clark hypnotizes Lois so that he can use his powers without Lois discovering his identity.

Superman follows Bernier and his assistant, Cliff, to their boss, Brett Hall. Bernier was paid to cause trouble which would enable Brett to buy the lumber company cheap. Hall kills Bernier and Cliff when Lois shows up alive. Superman intervenes in time to save Lois and stop Brett’s plan.
