Synopsis:
Superman learns that Gus Snide, a racketeer, is trying to force himself into the Truck Driver’s Union. Snide’s men have kidnapped the daughter of union leader, Carlson. Superman rescues the girl, then visits Snide’s office.
Superman pretends he wants to join Snide in an venture of profit. Not trusting the Man of Steel, Snide wants Superman to kill Carlson as a show of trust. Superman brings Carlson to the office and throws him out the window, earning Snide’s trust. Carlson is then saved from death by Superman who chases after the man.
The racketeers then begin causing trouble, before being arrested by police. Superman releases them and appoints himself leader. Snide escapes with the money and reports the rest of the gang to the police. When they arrive, the gang is caught. Superman chases after Snide and brings him to justice as well.
