This story is continued from the first story of Aquaman #50 and continues in the first story of Aquaman #52.
Synopsis:
Aquaman meets Brother Warnn in the strange inter-dimensional city. His plea for help is ignored, so he decides to leave the city. In doing so, he violates the rules of the city and security forces try to apprehend him. Aquaman escapes and the female city dweller follows him.
To prevent their escape, the city dwellers activate a telepathic device which renders the girl unconscious. Aquaman is barely able to overcome it. He takes the girl with him, and eventually they encounter a race of cave dwellers. Aquaman tries to befriend them, but the girl draws a weapon and turns the people against them.
Back in Atlantis, Mera and Aqualad worry about Aquaman's disappearance. Mera has allowed Ocean Master to leave the city, but now Black Manta arrives on their doorstep.
