Synopsis:
Elliot Hamilton and his wife Ginger covet the inheritance of Elliot's aunt Maud. However, when the old woman dies, she leaves her money to her cat Midnight. Her nephew only inherits if the cat dies a natural death. Elliot and Ginger conspire to kill the cat. They think they have succeeded multiple times, but it always comes back. When Elliot opens a closet that the cat protected, he is ambushed by the several cats, Midnight's children. He is driven mad by the experience. Midnight's heirs are also the new owners of the inheritance.
