Comments:
This story reveals that Zatanna was secretly the witch who served the Outsider in the first story of Detective Comics #336.
Synopsis:
The three JLA members who had previously aided her in her quest for her father, plus Batman and non-member Elongated Man, are summoned to the Secret Sanctuary by Zatanna the Magician.
Zatanna relates how she was able to conjure magical counterparts of the five heroes to aid her in finally locating the missing Zatara. While battling the perils that beset her in the mystical dimension of Kharma, the duplicates discovered that these menaces were actually sent against her by her own father, in an effort to exorcise an evil elemental that possessed her. Allowing the exorcism to take place, they witnessed a battle between the evil spirit and her good twin, both named Allura, in which the good Allura, an ally of Zatara, was victorious.
Father and daughter are united at last.
