Synopsis:
In the days of Camelot, the forces of Morgaine Le Fey assault the castle of King Arthur. Among the last of the defenders, the wizard Merlin summons the Demon, Etrigan, to battle. Despite the Demon's efforts, Camelot falls. Before disappearing with the Eternity Book which Le Fey desires, Merlin places a spell on Etrigan which transforms him into a man with no memory of his demonic form.
The Demon's human form lived for centuries. He eventually took the name Jason Blood and sought employment as a demonologist in Gotham City. Blood is watched by the immortal Le Fey, who believes that he is the link needed to locate Merlin. Eventually, Blood receives a summons delivered by an animated rock statue.
Blood travels to Moldavia in Europe. He finds his way into a hidden crypt underground. Inside the crypt is a tomb with an inscription. When Blood reads the verse, he transforms into the demonic form of Etrigan. Le Fey has followed Blood to Moldavia. Once the Demon appears a confrontation with Le Fey's forces ensues.
