Synopsis:
Two astronauts land their space ship briefly on an asteroid. They discover some strange plants and bring two of them back to Earth. Once the plants enter Earth's atmosphere, they are able to change shape as they are really dangerous chameleon creatures.

Mark Merlin is on hand to survey the scene with the military. Mark, Elsa, and General Mills are chased through a nearby forest by the creatures, when they see an alien space ship. The alien proves to be friendly. He is able to recapture the chameleon creatures after explaining that the asteroid was meant as a prison for the creatures since they could not change shape there.
