Synopsis:
Following up on an astronauts report, Superman locates an odd planetoid which zig-zags through space. He explores the planet where he learns that powerful engines move it through space. He then meets two inhabitants of the planet, Jaymarr and Themis. He helps them recover a rainbow jewel, then is brought to their village.
The village chief believes Superman to be a demon. Superman attempts to use his powers to prove himself only to discover that the planet has travelled into a solar system with a red sun which eliminates Superman's powers. The Man of Steel is imprisoned as a demon. He then must perform three feats of magic, which he executes using scientific trickery.
Despite his three acts of magic, Superman is still scheduled to be executed by the chief. Jaymarr and Themis help Superman escape with the help of Jimmy's signal watch, which Superman has brought with him. Soon, the planet moves back to a yellow sun system restoring Superman's powers. Superman returns to Earth and returns Jimmy's watch along with a souvenir from his adventure.
