Synopsis:
An H-bomb experiment temporarily sensitizes the atmosphere to Superboy's voice. If he speaks, earthquakes will occur. Superboy must remain silent for 24 hours until the effect passes. The loss of his voice affects his ability to make rescues, but Superboy overcomes his handicap. When Lana sees Clark Kent, she believes that she had an opportunity to expose his secret. Clark tricks her using a telepathic helmet, so she believes he is speaking aloud. After 24 hours pass, Superboy can safely speak again.
