Synopsis:
Supergirl arrives on the Purple Planet for her confrontation with Drang the Destoyer. She learns that several other heroes from her universe are already prisoners of Drang. Supergirl is then brought to Drang's castle where she is introduced to Drang aka Dr. Supernatural. The evil sorcerer admits to being responsible for Supergirl's lost powers. He then tricks the Maid of Might with several illusions.
Supergirl discovers that Drang's powers are derived from the evil energy's exhibited by others. He stages a fight between two heroes, but Supergirl destroys the machine that gives him his power.
Supergirl's powers are restored, and she frees the captive heroes. Drang makes her think that her actions have given him more power, so she recaptures the heroes she just released. Drang then admits he tricked her with an illusion. Her evil act of apprehending the heroes has made Drang invincible. He then traps Supergirl on the planet and prepares for his most diabolical scheme.
