Synopsis:
A chimpaneze is lowered underwater to test a new pressure suit. A strange explosion occurs, so the Sea Devils descend to investigate. They are soon attacked by a giant underwater gorilla, which is apparently the chimp in altered form. The Sea Devils escape, then they learn the gorilla is composed of energy.

The gorilla soon teams up with Man-Fish in an alliance to attack the surface. The Sea Devils return to attack the gorilla and are captured. Man-Fish betrays his ally in order to free Judy. He is then brought before two aliens who have created the energy-gorilla. Then aliens brainwash Man-Fish and order him to kill the Sea Devils.

The Sea Devils contact Captain X and the International Sea Devils to form a plan to take out the gorilla and the aliens. Man-Fish brings the Sea Devils to the gorilla to be killed. At the same time the International Sea Devils use Neptimus to damage the alien craft. The energy-gorilla is destroyed, and Man-Fish regain control of himself. The aliens then retreat, leaving the chimp and plans of conquest behind.
