Synopsis:
The Losers are stationed in England where they meet Linda, a lieutenant in the Women's Royal Naval Service. When a German air attack targets the base, Gunner mans the anti-aircraft gun. The others watch as a lone pilot engages the enemy planes. The plane is shot down, but the pilot is able to parachute to safety. Linda helps the pilot when he lands and invites him and the Losers to her parents house after the battle. Linda and the pilot, Bill, quickly fall for one another and become engaged.
The Losers are invited to attend the wedding in four weeks time. They manage to survive several battles and make it to Linda's house for the ceremony. Before it begins, a German plane attacks. Linda is killed while protecting two refugee children. Bill is in the air and shoots down the enemy plane. His own plane is damaged. Although he lands successfully, his wounds are too great, and he dies. The Losers then see that the couple are buried side-by-side.
