Mona then discovers an armlet carved from wood that was formed when Aphrodite transformed the mythical Sirens into trees. The armlet gives her voice power over men. She commands Steve to attack Wonder Woman, then orders him to crash his airplane. Wonder Woman recovers in time to save them both.

Wonder Woman then captures Mona and forces the Siren trapped in the armlet to reveal herself. The Siren, Parthenope is turned over to Aphrodite for punishment. Mona is sent to Transformation Island.
