Synopsis:
Alvin, a lowly kitchen boy, dreams of becoming a Knight of the Round Table. When he is seen defending himself against an angry knight at a feast, King Arthur promises to grant Alvin's wish if he can complete a quest. His task is a difficult one. Alvin must return to Camelot with the Silent Knight as his prisoner.
Alvin soon finds the Silent Knight and helps him escape a quicksand bog. The Silent Knight tries to reward the boy by surrendering. Alvin does not accept and challenges the Silent Knight to a duel as his honor demands. When the Silent Knight slips and falls, he gives up despite the fact that he would have easily defeated Alvin.
Alvin then returns to Camelot and earns his knighthood from King Arthur. Arthur orders the Silent Knight to remove his helmet, but before the knight is forced to comply, a dragon attacks the castle. The Silent Knight defeats the dragon and escapes, so his secret identity remains safe.
