Synopsis:
Danny Peale is nicknamed Gabby by his classmates because he spreads gossip. Most students refuse to be his friend, so Gabby builds a ham radio and begins broadcasting the gossip. His actions cause problems for many students, then gamblers try to use him to get the best basketball player kicked off the team.

Superboy helps several kids overcome the problems created by Gabby. He also gets a confession from the gamblers that they gave the gossip monger false information. Superboy then tries to convince Gabby to stop spreading gossip by publicly revealing embarassing information about him.

Gabby visits Clark Kent to get advice. However, he begins to suspect that Clark is Superboy. He prepares to broadcast the information, but heeds Clark's advice to give up gossip. Superboy then tricks Gabby into believing that he and Clark are not the same person.
