Synopsis:
After his mysterious death, Doctor Occult is buried at Chardon Cemetary. The night after his burial his body is exhumed and taken to the Lord of Life who restores Doctor Occult to life. He then explains that the Ray of Life will only allow Occult to live for one month. If Occult does not serve his new master faithfully during that time, he will die again. Nita Crane then arrives to give Doctor Occult his first assignment in the service of the Lord of Life.
