Clark is attacked since the tame animals have been replaced by wild ones. Clark survives by using his powers secretly. Then he switches to Superman and rounds up both the animals and crooks responsible for releasing them. The crooks had tried to kill Kent because of an expose of their gang the Swindle Syndicate.
