Synopsis:
Clark and Lois witness a jewelry store robbery. Clark is forced to let the crooks escape because the crooks set fire to the store. When Lois later visits the office of Randall Rocksell, the store owner, he doesn't appear upset about the robbery. Randall isn't upset because he made another investment with Goldie Gates that paid off.

However Gates is really the man behind the heist. He is stealing from Rocksell, then paying the rich man off with his own money. Goldie's men strike again when Rocksell makes a bank deposit. This time they try to kill Lois and Rocksell, but Superman saves them. Lois and Rocksell realize Goldie's scheme, but are once again put in danger. Superman saves the day again, ending Goldie's scheme for good.
