Synopsis:
Rip and the team travel back in time to find the cure to a mysterious illness which has affected a South American tribe. The Time Sphere malfunctions though and throws them off course. The team escapes, but winds up a million years farther back than expected. While there they discover a mastodon which has the same illness as the indians. It is cured after entering a particular valley.

Once the Time Sphere is repaired, Rip and the team arrive in the correct time and learn the cure from an ancient medicine man, Akku. Using this knowledge they are able to cure the sick tribesmen when they return to the present.
