This story is continued from Arion, Lord of Atlantis #30 and continues in Arion, Lord of Atlantis #32.

Synopsis:
After Arion discovers that the crystals used to contact his father's spirit have been turned to dust, he and Chian take Wyynde to Hoshan. Chian was raised in Hoshan and was befriended by Yoshiro, a teacher, during her mercenary days. Arion trains with Yoshiro in an attempt to restore his magic.

Meanwhile Chian's former lover Tomokata consorts with dark forces and plots against Arion. He also tries to win back Chian which causes discord. After Tomokata tampers with Arion's gemstone, the mage appears to have regained his magic, but the price of the magic is in doubt.
