Comments:
Titan Lair is first named in this story.
The Teen Titans receive a belated letter from Speedy thanking them for their help in the previous issue's Olympic adventure in this story; this does not imply that the story in Teen Titans #4 immediately preceded this story.
Synopsis:
At the request of Dr. Paul Turner, head of Lacklock Camp and a friend of Robin's, the Teen Titans track down the Ant, a teenaged costumed criminal suspected of being a former inmate of Lacklock, Eddie Whit. Using his great strength and agility, inherited from his late circus-performer parents, Eddie, as the Ant, evades the Titans, but not before they discover his dual identity. When they learn that Whit is being blackmailed into a super-criminal career by his crooked employers, the Titans, together with Eddie's younger brother and the inmates of Lacklock, lure the real crooks into the open and dismantle their operation.
