Synopsis:
Jimmy Olsen meets the Newsboy Legion, five youngsters who are the sons of the original Newsboys. With them is the Whiz Wagon, a special car designed by Big Words. The construction of the car was financed by Galaxy Broadcasting System, the new owners of the Daily Planet. Galaxy president Morgan Edge has given Jimmy use of the car to investigate the mysterious Wild Area, a sanctuary for motorcycle gangs and other drop-outs from society. Jimmy and the Newsboys reach the Wild Area where they are soon attacked by two members of a motorcycle gang. Jimmy defeats the leader which makes him the new leader.
Back in Metropolis, Clark Kent worries about Jimmy and questions Edge about the assignment. Fearing that Kent will interfere, Edge orders Inter-Gang to kill Kent. They fail only because Clark is Superman. Concerned for Jimmy, Superman follows his pal to the Wild Area. Jimmy refuses to leave his assignment, and Superman is knocked out by one of Jimmy's men using a Kryptonite gas gun.
When Superman recovers he meets the Newsboy Legion. He also learns that Jimmy plans to investigate something called the Mountain of Judgment which even the Outsiders fear.
