Synopsis:
The Metal Men put on a performance for a group of youngsters. One boy, Timmy, does not attend the show because he is blind. Tina feels sorry for Timmy, so she invites him to spend the day with the Metal Men. Timmy explains that there is no cure for his blindness. Tina tells him that Doc is a great scientist and should be able to find a cure. Surprised, Doc is forced to begin the impossible task of finding a cure.
While Doc works the Metal Men take Timmy aboard their rocket. The ship is launched into space where they find an abandoned world with amusement park rides. The group stops to play on the rides, only to be attacked by the rides themselves. During their escape, the Metal Men are blinded by a flash of light. Accustomed to being blind, Timmy is able to lead them back to the rocket, so they can escape.
