Comments:
This story is continued from the second story of Green Lantern #46.

Synopsis:
Having been killed by Dr. Polaris, Green Lantern's body resides on Oa where Katma Tui mourns him. Suddenly his body disappears having being drawn into the 58th century by Chairman Dasor and Iona Vane. Doctors are able to locate a spark of life and revive GL. Then they recruit him to help battle an evil virus which has been taking over the people. Green Lantern defeats the Viros including a Super-Viro, then is returned to his own time without memory of his adventures in the future.

Green Lantern reappears before Katma Tui restored to life. He remembers his battle with Dr. Polaris and races back to Earth to rescue Pieface. This time Green Lantern successfully defeats his foe and saves his friend. He also reveals that Polaris was responsible for saving his life having subconsciously allowed GL to maintain a spark of life which was magnetically shielded from detection. However, GL has no idea how the spark was reignited as a result of his trip to the future.
