Comments:
Hendricksen is revealed as Jimmy's father. He is presumed dead following this story.

This story takes place between Blackhawk #3 and Blackhawk #4 in May 1948.

Synopsis:
Chuck runs into his former teammate Hendricksen and invites him to join the new Blackhawk operation. Hendricksen learns that Natalie had a son, Jimmy, who has been adopted by Chuck and Mairzey. Hendricksen is the father, a fact which only Mairzey discovers.

The Blackhawks are chosen to reestablish supply lines to Albania. An intelligence leak has compromised previous attemps, allowing the Soviets to tip off the Albanian militia. Blackhawk himself becomes the target of Sybil Mayhew, the daughter of former Nazi Death Mayhew. She reforms the White Lions and tries to assassinate Janos. Natalie saves Blackhawk.

The team continues their mission, and they discover an experimental helicopter which helps them stop Sybil and the White Lions. Blackhawk delivers the killing shot to Mayhew. On the way home, the helicopter crashes at sea. Hendricksen is lost and presumed dead.
