Synopsis:
Harriet Burke is called before congress because she is believed to have written the Blackhawk comic book. The comic considered to be communist propaganda because of the portrayal of Natalie Reed, the Lady Blackhawk. The comic is actually ghost written by Reed. Harriet is the sister of her brother-in-law.

The investigation is headed by Congressman Dixon Millburn who is being investigated by a reporter. When Millburn orders a hit on the reporter, Jonathan Smeal, the informant at the comic book company is a witness. He tells Harriet, who enlists the aid of the Blackhawks. Blackhawk stops the hit and with the help of the reporter, Millburn's indiscretions are brought to light. The case against the comic company is dropped.

Meanwhile, Natalie, with the help of Chuck and Mairzey sneaks back into the country.
