Synopsis:
While visiting the Kepakapawnee Wildlife Preserve, Superboy is overcome by the power of an ancient legend. The Boy of Steel becomes the leader of a wolf pack which terrorizes the residents of Smallville. Chief Parker leads the defense of the town and eventually uses Kryptonite to stop Superboy.

The Boy of Steel pleads with Parker to send the wolves into space. Once the wolves are safely on their way in a space capsule, Superboy returns to normal. He later shows Chief Parker that the wolves were alien refugees. He pretended to be wolf-like in order to protect the aliens from warlords observing Earth. Superboy's act allowed the peaceful aliens to be smuggled offworld without suspicion.
