Synopsis:
Outcast Hector Hooper is upset that none of the other students at Smallville High like him. He devises a scheme to make everyone think he is Superboy. He leaves clues for his classmates to find, which lead them to discover he is the Boy of Steel. When they are convinced Hector becomes popular.

The real Superboy later saves Hector from a falling tree. One of the students sees the rescue and realizes that Hector was faking his super identity. Superboy questions Hector and learns that he is a good kid that just wants to be liked. Superboy agrees to vouch for Hector. The other students are told Hector's hoax was done at Superboy's request. They believe the story and finally accept Hector.
