Synopsis:
The Atom enters the case when he finds that it is the experimental space-warp machine of his lab assistant, Enrichetta Negrini, that is not only causing his size-weight controls to malfunction, but is also the true cause of the coincidence of the parallel Earths. Solomon Grundy again changes places with Blockbuster, escalating the battles between the monsters and the JLA and JSA members, until Dr. Fate discovers the Spectre's dilemma in deep space, and summons the other heroes to the aid of the Ghostly Guardian. The combined forces of the two teams hold Anti-Matter Man at bay, while the Atom joins forces with the Spectre to return Earth-1 and Earth-2 to their proper positions in time and space in an explosion that nearly destroys the Spectre.

While the super-heroes have been in space, Green Lantern has arranged a battle between their other two foes, and after Blockbuster fights Solomon Grundy to a draw, both monsters are temporarily pacified.
