Synopsis:
Gunner and Sarge cover Apple Cake Patrol that is returning from a mission. Several of the patrol members are injured, so Sarge leaves Gunner to assist them. Gunner then spots enemy troops following them. Gunner single-handedly sneaks up to the enemy and destroys a bridge to prevent the troops from reaching the injured men.

Sarge then promises Gunner a birthday party for his good work. Another enemy attack interrupts the festivities. Gunner and Sarge destroy an enemy mortar station and a tank. After the battle, Gunner is able to enjoy his party and birthday cake.
