Comments:
This story takes place on December 7th, the anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
Capt. Storm's origin is recapped in this story.
Synopsis:
On the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, Capt. Storm hunts for the sub that killed his first crew. An enemy fighter damages his PT boat, forcing him ashore. While the ship is being repaired, Storm joins Gunner and Sarge in search of Japanese soldiers in the jungle.
The Americans stumble upon an ambush and are pinned down by snipers. They manage to fool the snipers into thinking they are dead. When the soldiers come down from the trees, Storm and the marines defeat them. However, an enemy pillbox halts their advance. Lt. Larry Rock, the Fighting Devil Dog, demolishes the bunker, saving the lives of his fellow soldiers.
Storm then returns to his repaired boat. Soon, the boat is sunk by another fighter. Storm swims to an enemy ship to plant explosives. Then he spots the enemy sub he has been hunting. Storm plants the explosives and finally has his revenge when the sub is sunk.
