Synopsis:
Buddy witnesses a robbery committed by a gang whose leader appears to be a gorilla. Buddy tries to stop the robbery as Animal-Man, but he can't absorb the gorilla's strength. After a pair of battles with the gorilla boss, Animal-Man is captured and locked up. He escapes from captivity and learns that the gorilla boss is a human using special injections to give him a gorilla's strength and appearance. During his next encounter, Animal-Man delays the boss until the transformation wears off. When the gorilla returns to human form, Animal-Man apprehends him.
