This story takes place in 1769.

Synopsis:
Tomahawk and Dan Hunter receive a warning about giants from a dying frontiersman. They investigate and find that a great fire has wiped out the food supply of the Black Wolf indian tribe. The indians know that food and game exists in a nearby valley, but they are afraid of the giants that dwell within it.

Tomahawk enters the lost valley and discovers that the giants are really dinosaurs. The dinosaurs have somehow survived millions of years in this valley. Tomahawk evades the dinosaurs long enough to bring food to the tribe. He then starts a dinosaur stampede which lures them into quicksand. The giants sink to their death, and the valley is safe for the indians to hunt.
