Synopsis:
Chemist John Rayburn conducts another experiment using his newly discovered shrinking formula. By increasing the dosage, he and Rex shrink to microscopic size and enter a microverse.

They discover a world inhabited by intelligent telepathic dogs. The dogs use humans as pets. Rayburn is put into quarantine, while Rex battles a race a birds that are at war with the dogs.

Rex proves himself a hero by defeating the bird leader. Rayburn is then released. The shrinking formula soon wears off allowing Rex and Rayburn to return to normal size.
