Synopsis:
Rex joins Dr. Durand on a trip to India. Durand hopes to convince the Maharajah to build a scientific observatory. His plea fails to convince the Maharajah, but he stays at the palace hoping that the leader will change his mind.

Meanwhile the Crowder Brothers are planning to steal the Maharajah's gold. They trap Durand and Rex, then make off with the gold. Rex helps Durand escape and together they apprehend the bandits. The grateful Maharajah rewards the heroes by agreeing to build the observatory.
