Synopsis:
Rex is awakened when he hears a cry for help. Rex leaves his master's house to find the source of the cry. He finds a flock of sheep menaced by a pack of timber wolves. Rex chases off the wolves to save the sheep.

Before he can return home, Rex spots a calf mired in quicksand. He manages to pull the calf to safety, tiring himself out in the process. Though he wants to rest, he then must save a colt from the threat of an eagle's talons. After yet another rescue, Rex returns home to rest.
