Synopsis:
Pat Dugan and Sylvester Pemberton pick up a new car purchased by Mr. Pemberton. On the way, they spot a suspected arson. They park the car and become the Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy. They battle the crooks, but in the process the car is burned. The crooks also escape.

Without a car Dugan is forced to drive a horse and carriage to carry Mr. Pemberton around town. On one trip he spots a car which looks identical to the one that was burned, except that it is painted yellow.

Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy investigate the car and discover it is Mr. Pemberton's. The crooks switched cars and burned a worthless junker. The Kid and Stripesy find the crooks and put an end to their stolen car racket.
