Synopsis:
From the Idol-Head of Diabolu springs another menace, the Genie of Gensu. The first man the genie meets is small-time crook Mousy Mulloy. The genie offers himself to Mulloy, who uses the genie to take over the local gang commanded by Duke Durgon.

Mulloy then orders the genie to steal a bank vault. J'onn J'onzz attempts to stop the genie, but he is not powerful enough. Instead he follows the genie back to the gang hide-out and impersonates Duke. J'onn then tricks Mulloy into sending the genie away.

While the genie is on a wild goose chase, J'onn impersonates the genie and reclaims the bank vault. He then attacks the gang. Just as the real genie is returning, Mulloy orders the genie to disappear. The real genie obeys the order, and J'onn is free to round up the gang.
