Synopsis:
Sheriff Chase is called when a man steals fifty dollars from the register at a motel. The money is returned, so the sheriff dismisses the incident. However, Bobo recognizes one of the signatures in the guest book. Bobo continues to investigate and finds that actor Wallace Brook is being held hostage. Bobo charges to the rescue with sheriff Chase backing him up. Though Brook signed a fake name in the guest book, Bobo recognized the handwriting from his autograph collection.
