Synopsis:
Sock Smith, a retired boxer, opens a restaurant across the street from Killer Hooke's restaurant. When Sock's business begins doing well, Hooke and his partner, racketeer Eats Daly, sabotage their competitor. Wildcat tries to stop the sabotage, but Eats and Hooke are able to get Sock's restaurant shut down by a poison food scare.

Wildcat then arranges a boxing match between Sock and Hooke. Meanwhile, Stretch Skinner tricks Eats with his own poison food scare. Hooke is beaten in the ring, and Stretch's trick forces Eats to confess. With the racketeers out of the picture, Sock is able to reopen his restaurant.
